-E3 2010

Microsoft went to a shitty presentation to promote their Natal or Kinect or whatever they wanna call it now (LOL SKITTLES). Despite the horrible presentation they have to give to the crowd, Gears of War 3 and Halo: Reach was good, although overshadowed by how they give presentation time to Natal/Kinect and their casual games rather than their "games"...

Sony did an okay presentation to audience even presenting their known "employee" named "Kevin Butler" even making a smart mock on Microsoft's Presentation and making a bold statement on what games are and what games are meant to played. Moving on, They presented Killzone 3, it went to a different approach than Killzone 2, Playstation Move was presented it was good but the impression didn't last long for me, Gran Turismo 5 was announced to be released this fall, Twisted Metal series made a comeback and sure did made a impression that will want you to play it. Last but not the least Gabe Newell went to the stage of sony to despite his rantings on how hard it is to develop a game for the PS3, he kinda took it as a challenge for him and his team. He announced Portal 2 and STEAM for the PS3 and how it will benefit PS3 owners
Nintendo stole the spotlight from competitors by presenting their new Handheld called 3DS, the presentation consists of specs of the 3DS, games to be released on the 3DS, gaming companies reactions on developing games for the 3DS. Words cannot desrcribe how good their presentation was. Lucky for the crowd to get a demo test on the 3DS.
Special mention on this game, "Mortal Kombat". Midway was bought by Warner Bros. Games when they went bankrupt. The Mortal Kombat series on their 2D (MK1, MK2, MK3, UMK3, MKT?) was unbelievably well-received by the fans of the series while The Mortal Kombat series on their 3D(MK4, MKDA, MKD, MKA, MKvsDC) became the fall of the series. This E3 2010 they made their comeback to the game industry pre-presenting a viral video on their newest film of Mortal Kombat and then presenting a new Mortal Kombat game for the series. "So it's 3D? i guess it's gonna suck again huh?" WRONG!!! The team now wisely listens to the fans who truly want the competitive fighting game that was made back in the 2D days. They are now going for the path of Street Fighter where they went from 2D to 2.5D competitive gaming. After watching the gameplay it feels like the good ol' days when you see and say "GODDAMMIT this game isn't only just for fatalities". Here's hoping Kabal, "LOL HIGH TIER"
TOYCON 2010
nahh.. i dont have any pics for the event... there were many people and cosplayers for both days so I should say it was kinda fun... although i dont remember much.
I AI ANIME
well I cosplayed as Roberto from Justice Gakuen, I joined the catwalk for fun only. Also noting that the sounds went to Vuvuzela mode because... I am a soccer player. Please enjoy my imaginary Vuvuzela.
Street Fighter vs Tekken/Tekken vs Street Fighter
So Ryu journeys to all kinds of enemies in this one... he has met many adversaries the likes of Wolverine, Spider Man, Strider Hiryu, Ken the Eagle, Casshern, Kyo Kusanagi, Terry Bogard and now facing Kazuya... I really like how Ryu challenges just about everything in his path due to the "Street Fighter/Capcom vs" idea but...
GODDAMMIT, why'd they just limit this game on Street Fighter vs Tekken I MEAN COME ON!!! This could've been CAPCOM vs NAMCO/NAMCO vs CAPCOM. Think about the possibilities for a fighting game (HINT: Characters from NAMCO x CAPCOM)... We could see Breathe of Fire characters duking it out with Tales of series characters, Klonoa versus SplatterHouse, Taiko no Tatsujin vs Phoenix Wright etc. All because of rumor it hyped many people to see this kind of game, momentum was lost as a result. But people would still play this game
Let's see how this game is received by fans. In the Philippines and Korea, they say how Kazuya will beat Ryu's ass in this one. In other countries such as Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong America, etc. go cheer for Street Fighter's Ryu while countries such as Mexico/Brazil complain how CAPCOM ditches the favor for another crossover game with SNK.
In the gameplay I saw, there wasn't anything that would make me go wooo on Kazuya(and Nina) other than how the CAPCOM team chose carefully the well known moves and the super he has, he is clearly still in development (and I hope there is more to come for him and his fellow Tekken people in this game) they gotta make those Tekken characters make more flashier moves. Here's thinking that Paul's Burning Fist will be a super... eventually.
what's that Street Fighter III: Third Strike ONLINE EDITION currently on development by Yoshinori Ono? hmmm... LOL REHASH.. i dont want to get my hopes up on a 80% nerf on Ken/Chun-Li/Yun and a 80% buff on Remy/Necro/Twelve
King of Fighters XIII. King of Fighters XII was a waste but it did give a new feel on what they are going after. King of Fighters XIII is the true sequel for King of Fighter XI. This game has a refined feel on their series no just on their very fluid appearance but...
SPOILERS
I knew Ash was a good guy. Gracious God, it feels like Code Geass all over again. He'd present himself as a Mask of a Antagonist but only to reveal that he will then save the world not for them but for Elizabeth and himself. One thing's missing for sure... Where is Adelheid??? LOL
SPOILERS
In other news, I think I might upload my Street Fighter III: Third Strike matches on this blog and I think the next blog would be about LOL Anime/Drama/Toku
